New: API Access for Your Scripts and AI Agents

What’s new

HITS Scout v1.0.16 (with UI v1.0.8.2) adds API access for customer agents. You can now generate API keys so your own scripts, AI agents and integrations can securely query your monitoring data: monitors, check history, links, reports, alerts and dashboards.

How it works

Open Profile > API Keys in the app and create a key. Then use it from your own tooling.

• Read-only. Keys can read your data but never change it.
• Rate limited per key, so one busy integration can’t crowd out the others.
• Shown once. Copy the key when it’s created; it can’t be displayed again.
• Last-use visibility. See when each key was last used and spot ones you no longer need.
• Delete any time. Revoke a key instantly.
• Your choice of expiry. Keys expire after 90 days by default, or you can choose no expiry.

Availability

API access is available on every paid plan, including custom plans. It is not included on the Free plan. See pricing for the full plan comparison.
